I had a similar frame several years ago, and this seems like an ideal option to use for our current needs. I wanted a digital frame with a fairly large capacity that I could load with pictures via email or from an app on my phone. For a particular purpose I wanted to make the address available for a number of individuals to upload photos for a party. This worked perfectly.

The frame has a lot of additional features that I’m not taking advantage of. The one feature of my old frame was that it would turn off when the room was empty… both a power saver and a means to extend the life of the screen.

The bottom line for me is that the frame does what I wanted and needed and did so well. At this price point, who could ask for more? I have no problems recommending it to others.

This digital photo frame is much better that I was expecting. There are a few things I find annoying about it but overall I honestly would buy another (and I just might).

But let’s start with the good.
1) It has 32GB internal storage (but will take external microsd cards)
2) It can connect to wifi to update firmware and allow you to upload and share images and videos, as well as show weather and time and date.
3) It feels fairly solid (for what it is)
4) It has a touch screen which is actually very responsive.

The not so good :
1) Requires a proprietary app to sync (but you can just play photos and videos directly off the microsd card)
2) You have to manually tell it to use the external storage or else it will assume you’re uploading photos with the app (this isn’t a hard setting to change)
3) Requires you to set up an account to share photos with multiple users or give multiple users access to the frame (but if you only want to connect one device you can bypass this with guest access)

Really, I’m picky about any “smart” device that wants wifi access, especially if it has a proprietary app. My philosophy is to share as little personal data online as possible. BUT this frame provides you with ways to bypass all that and so you don’t HAVE to make an account or connect to wifi. But the functionality you get from connecting it is useful. I’ll be watching this device closely over Wireshark to see if there’s any suspicious communications but for now it seems okay. I will definitely come back and update this review if I discover anything of concern. But for now, I am quite happy with this frame and it’s features. for the price I think it’s a good deal.

This frame is great. It is very comparable to the much more expensive Nix and Aura frames, but for a fraction of the price. Below is a comparison. In short, there are some areas it does better and others it does worse. However, for the price, I would highly recommend this frame!

1) Looks – not as elegant, but it looks exactly like the pictures. if you like the style in the picture, then you should be comfortable to know you are getting exactly what is expected
2) Functionality
– Brightness, this frame is better than my Aura frame. Aura only has one brightness setting. This frame allows you to adjust brightness and can get brighter than my Aura frame
– This frame can also be vertical or horizontal orientation, unlike my Aura frame. That is a big plus for this frame as well
– Aura has a nice feature that you can have the frame turn off / on depending on light in the room, this frame only allows you to set a schedule. Not a big deal though.
– Aura has a cool feature that if a picture wont fill the full frame, it can take two pictures and side by side them to fill the full frame instead of having blank space. This frame doesnt have that, but of course it will take a picture and auto-fill it to the frame
3) App
– The uhale app is solid. It allows you to easily upload pictures / videos. The one benefit the Aura app has over uhale is that you can delete pictures from the Aura app.

I saw this picture frame being offered around the time my cat Blu passed away, and I thought it would be perfect for the little memorial I wanted to set up for him in my living room. When it arrived, I immediately set it up. The integration with the app is simple and easy to use. There are multiple options to upload photos to the frame. I used a USB stick because I had a lot of pictures, but you would need either a Type-C stick or a Type-C to USB-A adapter to make it work. Either way, it worked phenomenally.

The touchscreen is responsive, and you can set everything up on the screen like you would on a tablet. The size is perfect for a picture frame you’d typically have in an average home. Overall, you get what you pay for, and it’s worth the money.

It is definitely easy to use and is average quality, but more like the wally world type vs dg. The picture quality is fairly good as well. This makes a great gift. I actually put this in my home office and put pictures of motivational quotes on it so it really helps me get through a tough day. I have gotten compliments on it from people passing through.

This photo frame can be used vertically or horizontally. Photos are sent from an app. We have uploaded hundreds and still have plenty of memory left for more. The app is very easy to select photos for uploading. My only issue is that you have to manually chose the direction of the photo on the device as they come up, or sort through them one by one. The app appears to let you choose vertical or horizontal layout but it applies the format to ALL photos which means some end up cropped strangely. We have just been adjusting them as we notice but it is not as simple as it could be during the upload. This is a minor complaint as the frame is beautiful and the photos are clear and great.
